a beautiful cook book with amazing recipes. for one who goes their own food, wants to live self sufficiently, eating healthily while creating mouth watering and unique recipes, this book is the ticket. I purchased as a gift but I really want one for my collection. It is well compiled with tons of great information. The previous reviews do not do it justice. Orange yogurt cheesecake (yogurt cheese recipe on page 14 :) is so yummy. chicken mushroom lasagna, herby scotch eggs with sage and lemon..every page is something I want to try. Introductions to each chapters are great with tidbits of interesting info...its been a while since I found a cook book I fell in love with, this is it for me, Good job Sarah Mayor!Product details

great recipes. We have had fun both cooking and eating. Great detail, easy to follow but not simple. The dishes are worth the effort though.
Was a gift to someone else, but they love it and were surprised at all the usable and delicious recipes it contained.
So many ingredients I just can't find in South Texas. It calls for weird measurements too because they use metric.
The biscuit pot pie is awesome, and the Cottage pie. So far, that's all I have bothered to try because everything else is so impractical. But if you have access to your own wild foraged food stuff and game meat, it might a good pick for you. It's a beautiful book though.
